Prices keep inching up, in some areas more than others. While some towns, like Washington and Sherman, appear to have a drastic price decrease in sold homes from last month, such change is likely due to lack of inventory and the very small (hint: one) quantity of sales. Here is a summary of the market conditions* in Litchfield, Fairfield, and New Haven Counties for June 2024.

Litchfield County

The number of sold listings decreased by 13.66% from June 2023 (227 homes sold) to June 2024 (196 homes sold). The median list price during this time increased by 10.85% from $359,900 to $398,950 and sold price increased by 6.67% from $375,000 to $400,000. Median days on market decreased from 52 to 42.
